After spending more than 25 years in the financial services industry, being involved in all facets of banking and working with people from all different walks of life, I have learned one lesson very well: Be Educated. Educated regarding all your financial options. Educated regarding investing, mortgaging, spending and managing your finances. There is no substitute for a good financial education and yet it seems so hard to find one place that will help in all areas.

It was this heartfelt belief that led me in 1994 to conclude that I should do something to step into this gap that exists, specifically in the area north of Barrie, and so I became a Mortgage Broker and then opened Your Mortgage Store. At Your Mortgage Store education is at the heart of what we do. It’s our mission to educate the customer, not sell them.

As a result of this mission we have helped many people make the best choices for themselves and their families - educated choices that benefit them both now and in the future. This has allowed me to be able to build a Mortgage Brokerage that is recognized as one of the best in the industry. We have grown from one office to five: Wasaga Beach, Collingwood, Barrie, Elmvale and Midland and are focused on effectively serving the area that I felt needed us most. I’m a local girl with deep roots in the Wasaga Beach and area communities. I love this town and all that this area has to offer and am a staunch supporter of the Wasaga Food Bank, Wasaga Chamber of Commerce, and Women’s Business Association.

I can't think of a better place to live than here and that's why after deciding that it was time to broaden my career horizons helping other people be able to live in this community just seemed so perfect.

I have spent the past 28 years in the Automotive Finance Industry, helping people to make their second largest purchase in their life. That why it felt like such a natural transition to helping people finance their largest purchase, their home.
